A Score and Three!

It's my wife's birthday today. I always make it a point to write about our escapades during her birthday. Why? Because it also means it's another year added to our relationship as we were married on the her natal day. We make it a point that we do something extraordinary on this day. While the kids were growing up, we would rent a private pool somewhere in Laguna for the family which would include relatives and friends. This was how the children learned how to swim. It would have been a family tradition but we soon had close friends who would take us on a tour or something and the rest of the relatives would soon vow out of the scene.

Anyway, when I started blogging, I saw a venue to put everything before my memory fails me. Of course, that's still a long time to come but just the same, I would want to keep these memories not only for me, but for my grandchildren and theirs. Hmmm, do you suppose blogspot would still be around then? MAybe we would have all moved on to another experience of journaling our day to day existence, right?

This is the first time that I shall be writing about the anniversary on the day itself. We are still preparing lunch, which, hopefully would be enjoyed by all. Later on, we will be hearing mass (something that I do once a year) then off to a restaurant somewhere at the Fort. Nothing much for we would like to save some money for travels we are all looking forward to. In the meantime, should you have more time to browse, you can read about our birthday cum anniversary here, here, here, and here

Happy birthday, mama. I love you very much!

hellowie!! i read back to your previous post, wow! special mention ako! :D

i did see you but at that time i didnt know you were a blogger, actually, i didnt know anyone then except for kuya jay. :D i was actually thinking, where all the bloggers who replied to kuya jay's post were..

but like rj, i was too shy to ask around. i only overheard them talking to kuya jay that they were bloggers, dun ko nalang kinapalan yung mukha ko and started talking to rj and gasdude, and jeck who i met later in the afternoon..

if i had known tito, or kuya, i would have approached you, and made kwento. super FC *feeling close* pa naman ako :p

but hope to bump into you in some other blogging/blogger's event :D

and happy birthday to your wife. i hope someday, id be fortunate enough to meet someone like you and kuya jay and my dad who love their wives as much as you do.. and who would go out of their way to make me feel special on my special day :D

I did some backreading and found out that both you and your wife were discipline officers back in the 1980s.

Well, guess what? I was a product of the same school system (college) you guys work in and I was wondering if your wife was in the office during those "few" times I was there. Hehehe

Take care and congratulations again. :)

batjay Swerte talaga ang mga asawa natin at bihirang bihira makakita ng poging asawa diba? LOL!!!

Salamat sa bati, sir.

panaderos Really? What year were you there. Baka wala pa siya sa discipline office nuon. Either sa Reservation office or Purchasing office pa siya. Anyway, send me an email and I'll give you her complete name. Baka kilala mo siya. I'm sure kilala mo si Mang Jack. He's retired now.

Happy 23rd Wedding Anniversary & Happy Birthday to your wife.

You should celebrate with a short trip to Malaysia! Then we'll look into what we missed during the first trip!

to you and your beautiful wife, happy anniversary. and to your love, i reckon she'll only get better and better after each birthday. hoping it was a good two-in-one moment.

sweet! happy birthday and happy anniversary to you two!

illyria Unfortunately, or fortunately, there was no two-in one moment. Our activities have always included the children and more. No regrets. Soon, it will just be the two of us again once the children are all established and have a family of their own. C'est la vie.

Thanks for the greetings.

Toni Sweet? Can't have too much of it. I'm diabetic remember? hehehe

Happy birthday to Tita Nitz and Happy Anniversary to you both! Habang sinusulat ko ito Tito Rolly, tumutugtog ang Sampaguita's Theme sa iTunes ko... swak na swak! I can imagine you two dancing close.

Ang alam ko bumati na ako sa inyo e but for some reason it's not showing up. Happy birthday to Tita Nitz and happy anniversary to you both!

Twenty years of teaching must sure amount to something. A new friend in cyberspace suggested I ought to have a journal by now. I agree.

Jack of all trade, master of none. First a disclaimer. My students have discovered this blog and they might think that what I write is gospel truth. Worse is they might find an argument that they think they can use, for some reason or another, against their teachers. So, to set the record straight, it is NOT. As a matter of fact, I write and open it to feedback to get another view in the hope that somebody would tell me if I am wrong and reenforce my thinking if it is right. Not that I will accept anything thrown my way, though. Just so I can think about it some more and decide whether my original stance is right or definitely off tangent. So there. I hope that clarifies everything. Now, on to blogging.
