Much ado about nothing(?)

Finally, Rodolfo Lozada, has surfaced after a search for him since he arrived from Hong Kong last Tuesday. As you may know by now, he is supposed to testify on the NBN deal at the Senate, presumably to shed more light into the controversy. People had been worried for his life as the powers that be may have had him liquidated lest he spill out a testimony that will bring a lot of people down.

This morning, I received a text message from Doc Emer saying that Lozada has been found. As the text message was received at around 4:00 am, I have no way of checking the news on tv. It was later on, at around 5:00, after my morning routine, that the news came out that Lozada was in La Salle Greenhills.

So, what was the fuzz all about? He strengthened the case on former Comelec chair, Benjamin Abalos and stopped there. All he kmows about the FG Mike Arroyo are not first hand information - hence, hearsay. We all know that hearsay testimonies are not acceptable in court. With Lozada's emergence, we are still left in the dark. Too much ado over nothing, I might say.

It's funny that he had strengthened the case against Lozada but pretty much absolved the First Gentleman by claiming that everything he knows about the latter are hearsay. Either he really doesn't have a smoking gun against Mr. Arroyo or undue pressure has been exerted on him to keep his mouth shut. Oh well, we'll just wait and see.

Btw, thanks for your funny comment. The place's actual website is http://www.skyfarm.com/

it's sad to think that all of this will come to waste again and the crooks will go unpunished, reveling in their iniquities..

What I admired is his courage to come out. Swerte sya at buhay pa din sya hanggang ngayon. Also, with his revelations, I now know how to quantify "moderate greed."

Jack of all trade, master of none. First a disclaimer. My students have discovered this blog and they might think that what I write is gospel truth. Worse is they might find an argument that they think they can use, for some reason or another, against their teachers. So, to set the record straight, it is NOT. As a matter of fact, I write and open it to feedback to get another view in the hope that somebody would tell me if I am wrong and reenforce my thinking if it is right. Not that I will accept anything thrown my way, though. Just so I can think about it some more and decide whether my original stance is right or definitely off tangent. So there. I hope that clarifies everything. Now, on to blogging.
