some plugging!

A good friend of mine, Omi Reyes, is opening his one man show for the nth time at Art Space at the 3rd floor of Glorietta 4 at 6 pm today, September 10. If his awards are not enough to say how good an artist he is, I don't know what else will. We were together in two shows and my friends who attended couldn't help but marvel at his virtuosity. If you enjoy my works online, you will definitely find his works a real treat for he is by far a better artist than I am. Since his works this time are about musical instruments, I believe he also has several musicians at the exhibit to render some tunes. See you there!

Hi South haha, course that's a bit too far. Welcome to my blog. Hope you've gotten acquainted with it. I had some time touring you site too and will post a comment later when I'm able. Right now, I have an old lady to take care of. Come again, mate.

hi tito rolly...went to that exhibit yesterday since i'm in the vicinity. the violin playing was so inviting. i'm quite impressed with the works because i was told that they were finger painted. congrats to your friend.

Mari, What time were you there? Except for my youngest, the whole family was there. Medyo late nga lang kami. We arrived at around 7:10 pm. Hope you enjoyed the food, too. Pareho kayo ng mga anak ko, they enjoyed the music as well, especially Mickey who plays the violin, too. Sayang hindi tayo nagkita. Di bale, pag ako na ang may show, dapat nandun kayong lahat ha.

BayiThat's okay, but I wish you'd be there when I have mine. :-)

MariMSayang, missed you by several minutes. Don't worry, when my exhibit happens, I'd be there two hours earlier. hehe

Batjay The exhibit went well. It was well attended. As my friend has come out with a new theme, that of musical instruments, he had a trio constantly playing all throughout the show. It was a violin, guitar and flute band and they played a wide array of music from classical, (chardaz), to jazz (Earl Klugh's Like a lover) etc... Galing. Dami na ring benta nung dumating ako.

Sayang I wasn't able to see the exhibit but from the pictures sa PDI where he was featured, ang galing ng mga paintings niya. wala ko masabi.
