Twenty years of teaching must sure amount to something. A new friend in cyberspace suggested I ought to have a journal by now. I agree.

This one's up for grabs
Yin and Yang
oil on canvas 24" X 18"
This one is not a commissioned work and will be part of my collection. Anybody who may be interested of owning this can contact me at my email addy, rollydelossantos@gmail.com. This one sells for $300.00 excluding shipping and handling.
ipanema Now that you mentioned it, wala pang signature yan. I still have to wait several days before I sign my works. Hmmm, why didn't I think of that. Thanks.
oh boy...Sir Rolly, i love the overlapping images! because unlike other paintings (that are usually 2-dimensional), from a mathematical point of view, yours are 3D! fantastic! you're such a genius!!! and if the viewer can actually feel the emotions depicted in the images, to the viewer (to me, at least), they become 4 dimensional... the collage, i saw this in Mikey's work :) you may have taught him, but your style is borne out of experiencing the sensitivities of a human being. marami pa siyang bigas na kakainin :)
joyce Mickey is doing very different stuff now. I never taught him so that he can develop his own style (should he want to pursue his drawing/painting techniques). What you have seen was his earlier works perhaps when he was still trying to figure out what he wants.
Very nice work. If you won't mind my asking, what are the dimensions of this painting? Thanks and kind regards.
ReplyDeleteR Panaderos Oh yes, I forgot to include the dimensions. It is 24" X 18". Thanks for asking.
